In 2008 Cody Country Art League will present specialty shows as well as two-week shows highlighting the work of our members.

Please stop by and see us. We always have a variety of new and exciting artwork, as well as finely crafted items, such as pottery and woven items. We also have beautiful wooden bowls and rustic furniture.

Gathering of the Grizzlies Festival

9" fiberglass grizzlies designed by Jeff Rudolph will be available to artists in the region to paint and will go on exhibit at prominent locations in Park County during the summer of 2008 and be sold at silent auction on August 22th. The proceeds go into a fund held by the Park County Library Foundation to enhance the children's and youth sections of the Park County libraries.

All of the small bears will be on display at Cody Country Art League August 30 through September 30. Bidding on the small bears will conclude at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, September 1. On Monday, September 29, there will be a big bear wash and pizza party from 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in the parking lot of the new library. Anyone who wants to wield a sponge or a hose and get up close and personal to a bear is welcome. The large bear auction will be Saturday, October 4, at 4:30 p.m. immediately following the opening ceremonies for the new library.
